These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the services provided by Virgil LLC, doing business as Virgil Web Design (“we,” “us”). By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

We provide website design, development, hosting, maintenance, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for each project are set out in a written proposal or invoice, which forms part of these Terms. If a proposal conflicts with these Terms, the proposal controls.

Pricing and payment

• All prices are listed in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
• One-time projects require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due at approval and before launch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Monthly plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge it for the amounts described in your proposal or plan.
• Work beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately and begins only with your approval.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Client responsibilities

You agree to provide content, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner, and you confirm that you have the rights to any text, images, logos, or other materials you supply to us. Delays in providing materials may extend the project timeline.

Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own the final website design and the content created specifically for you. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, and know-how, and grant you a perpetual license to use them as part of your website. We may display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Hosting and third-party services

Websites may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, and plugins. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by those providers, though we will work with you to resolve issues that arise.

Warranty and limitation of liability

We will correct defects in work we delivered at no charge for 30 days after launch. Except as stated here, our services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits.

Termination

Either party may end a project or plan with written notice. You will be responsible for payment for work completed through the termination date, as described in our refund policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to services purchased after the updated Terms are posted.
